Travel reimbursement from one's company

The company has told us that we must leave our base sight and travel to another site three days a week for approximately 1-2 hours to provide constructive feedback to employees at the other site. Is the company required to compensate us for travel expenses such as mileage and wear and tear on our vehicles?

No, but you can deduct mileage from your income taxes, and if this vehicle is used only for work purposes, you could probably deduct at least part of the preventative maintenance as well.
