Ways to get to Hawaii, other than air.
I am moving to Hawaii in Januaury '09 to go to school. I'm working my butt off getting ready for the big day, so I was thinking, instead of making this a stressful move after all this hard work, why don't I make a vacation out of it?
Here's the problems - there are no cruises that allow you to disembark in Hawaii, you have to get back on them to go back to the mainland. I don't want to take a plane becuase, well it doesn't matter why, I just don't. It's boring and too quick. So since my car will take like two or three weeks to get there, why shouldn't I? But the moving company that's shipping my car, Matson, doesn't take passengers.
What options are left? There has to be something....
