You don't need your publisher id (pub-xxxxxxxxx) on web answers. And you cannot edit page source in firefox too add you publisher id there.
You have to tell web answers you have a google adsense account. Then tell google adsense you allow web answers to publish ads with your ID on it.
1. First tell web answers you have a google adsense account :
Go to the page 'My Account' -> 'Account Details' or click there :
http://www.webanswers.com/account-details.cfm
Follow the instructions on the web answers page. They ask you for you phone number and for your postal code.
2. Allow access to web answers inside google adsense.
When it's done you can go back to google adsense, they will show you a new third party request. Go to the tab 'My Account' then the tab 'Account Access' you should be able to see Web Answers there. Just click on 'grant access' if you see it, if you don't go back to web answers, something is wrong there.
3. Come back to web answers to see if everything is ok.
Go there : http://www.webanswers.com/account-details.cfm
You should see a 'Status: Approved' in the section about 'Google AdSense Information'.
If you see that it work. Just wait a few hours maybe a day and go back to google adsense to see what you have earn. It may take some hours before you can see results, google adsense don't display earning in real time.
Dylia is right as far as how you get your adsense account set up.
Just follow those steps, and the page you will want to go set up your account at and like it to webanswers is here
http://www.webanswers.com/account-google-adsense.cfm
Once you set it up, it takes a little bit for Google to open your AdSense account and then it will take a bit for it to get connected up on the WebAnswers end.
