Why is there alot of cut and past answers on this site?

Do they know that they can not do that. Would they get caught for doing this?
How long does it take for the Webanswer modiraters to catch these people? Why are these people still getting rewarded for doing this? Is there too many users on this site to keep track of? Is there just a few modiraters working on this site to handle all these users?
I know this is more then one question but it all comes down to one answer.

I have noticed this too. Even the questions that are asked on the site seem like they are copied from else. I have seen alot of questions copied and pasted from answers.com..Makes you wonder

If you read any of the posts by me or jreberry you'll hear us talking about your Quality Score over and over. Copy and pasting answers = lower quality score.

I only joined today, and i noticed that too, in fact i just seen it on your other question "how was the moon formed" but, to be honest, I think it's a mix of peoples laziness and them knowing that it will be a spot on easy answer, getting them awarded which inevitably results in money.

Why ? I think it's because some people are lazy or don't know the answers to the question. Or they know and think it's a fast way to make money. Obliviously they don't think about their reputation and earning money on long term. Original answers learn a lot more if you take the time and willing to wait to have it.

Users who join WebAnswers can learn alot from reading the Member Agreement.
So if you just joined WebAnswers then go ahead and take a few minutes to look it over. It realy helps to know what to do and what not to do and gives you a better quality score when you follow the rules.

People don't read directions. People don't follow directions. Don't ask me why. It sure makes life a lot simpler when you just take time to find out how to do things the right way and follow a few simple rules.
